Book Giveaway

I believe in sharing good fortune. A few weeks ago, I won a book,  Before Ever After,  from Tina at Girl With a New Life.

I was contacted by the author, Samantha Soto for my address and soon received it in the mail.  I don't know about you, but if you are a reader, like me, you've tried to write as well.  It's a tough job.  If you are a writer as well, check out Tina's blog and you'll find she is an inspiration to you writers out there.

Now I can't leave it on a shelf.  I need to share it.  Just leave a comment if you'd like to be entered for the drawing and follow me.  Samantha is on Facebook.  She's still doing book signings.  Maybe she'll be at a book store near you.  No, she doesn't know I am doing this.  I don't know her or Tina, other than loving Tina's blog and her "Chick Flick" recommendations.

I will consult Price-Waterhouse for a tabulation of nominees and have an official drawing Friday for the winner.  Which means, I'll put all the names in a box and have Terry draw one out.   Hmmmmm, is this "regifting" or is it just sharing?   Is it regifting OK if the receiver knows it?

The Liebster Award

I was a fortunate recipient of this very welcoming award, from a blogger I'd never met. 


Cilgin Kiz  from The Adventures of Cilgin  Kiz   of Ireland.  She found me in her blog travels and I'm so glad she did.  Now I can follow her in her travels across Europe.


Because I had never heard of this award, I did a little detective wor,k and discovered that liebster in German, means "beloved".
