Another Movie Favorite

I had another favorite movie cross my brainwaves  so I thought I'd share it with you.  It's one I forget about for a few years and then have to watch again.   Against All Odds with Jeff Bridges, Rachel Ward and James Woods.

Terry Brogan/ Jeff Bridges,is  an aging football player in L.A., that was cut early in the season. He needs money, so he takes a job from a shady friend of his, Jake Wise/ James Woods, to track down Wise's girlfriend, Jessie/Rachel Ward, who's somewhere in Mexico.  Of course they fall in love or we wouldn't have much of a movie if he just went down to Cozumel and got the girl.

Thank goodness for the 80's  love songs.

Rachel Ward is gorgeous.  James Woods does a great bad guy and Jeff Bridges is looking pretty good too.  The theme song is one of Phil  Collin's best.   This couple is so "hot" that they will make you forget that being in  sticky heat, covered in sand, is really not that sexy.

I would love to see/meet/have lunch with Rachel Ward.

Sigh.. she is so hot.

:)

Heck, I'd never even notice hot, sticky sand ummm...

I once saw Phil Collins perform... not long after "Genesis" came out... he had about 45 minutes of drum rolls ... ugh.. but the songs were good.

I saw it with a woman that "defined" Invisible Touch".

Well I've been waiting, waiting here so long
But thinking nothing, nothing could go wrong, ooh now I know
She has a built in ability
To take everything she sees
And now it seems I'm falling, falling for her.

She seems to have an invisible touch yeah
She reaches in, and grabs right hold of your heart
She seems to have an invisible touch yeah
It takes control and slowly tears you apart.....

:) those were the "good ol' days".

I loved this movie, too. I'd forgotten about it!

They just don't make movies like they used to :(
