I was a fortunate recipient of this very welcoming award, from a blogger I'd never met.
Cilgin Kiz from The Adventures of Cilgin Kiz of Ireland. She found me in her blog travels and I'm so glad she did. Now I can follow her in her travels across Europe.
Because I had never heard of this award, I did a little detective wor,k and discovered that liebster in German, means "beloved".

I have blog hopped the road less traveled at times and have discovered some great people. At other times, they have found me. For all, I am grateful and hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Thank you so very much! I've been a "bad blogger" lately, so was very surprised to receive this award. It means all the more to me because you and I are new friends. I always enjoy reading your blog. It often makes me take time to stop and remember my boomer days. Iggy has been an online friend since before the days of blog, and I agree with every word you said about his blog. I will definitely check out the others you mentioned. Thanks for the recommendations.
