Little Cupboard Gets New Life

This is my second  piece of painted furniture.  I found it at the flea market and paid more than I would generally, but I liked the little bugger so I had to bring it home.  The owners wanted $30.00. I got it for $20.00.

I'm not sure what to use it for now that it is all spiffed up.  CDs or DVDs  would fit.

All of the doors and trim in our condo are painted pure white so this keeps in line with that crispness .  I used a high gloss spray enamel paint this.

I lined the inside back with pale blue and white print......scrapbooking pages.

I have one more little table that will will paint white to go on the front porch but now I'm looking for something to paint a real color and distress.  Saturday is Garage and flea Market time again.   This could be fun.

Love your "find" and I think you got a deal!
I love to refinish furniture. It's a hobby of mine.
Lately I've been finishing a lot of things in flat black, but like you, I think it's fun to occasionally use a color. :-)

Wish I had room in my home for more furniture, but we were auction freaks for years and pickers could have a hay day here. That cabinet looks great and would be excellent for DVD's. Can't wait to see what you come home with today!

I am one to buy furniture brand new from the store, mainly because it is a lot of work to refinish used furniture -- not to mention the threat of bringing home termites.

But, I am glad you have the ability to refinish furniture. You are very talented!

I like this little cupboard! It reminds me of something that my mom used to have. Can't wait to see what your next "find" is :)

I like your little cabinet and it looks great painted white. I can also see it with the edges sanded off a bit for the shabby chic look. Or painted a color like red. So many possibilities! Have fun shopping!
