Catch Up Time

Wow!  I had a migraine for 2 days, Monday and Tuesday, so I feel like I've lost a least one of those days.  I had errands to do to get ready for my trip to Tampa, leaving next Friday morning.  I got my hair trimmed, went to the bank to get money, had to get some new underwear, important stuff.  I'm only going to be gone for 4 days.  You'd think that wouldn't take much planning.

I did come across a couple of great tables to refinish in my garage saling on Saturday.  I've started sanding them.  I'll post before and after pics when I get finished with those.  I have been reading a lot of Repurposing and Refinishing blogs so I am inspired now.  We'll see how long that lasts.  When we sold our house and moved here, Terry sold all of his woodworking equipment too.  So, all I have are the basics to work with.  Plus, living in a condo, there is no room for extras.  That's probably a good thing.


I will share a funny thing though.   On Saturday as Terry and I were driving around Garage Saling, an old song came on the radio.  It was Vince Gill's " Look At Us"  about a couple that have weathered the storms and the years together. So I  said"  That's a good song for us isn't it?"    Terry paused, and answered, " Any time your life can be a country song, it's not a good thing."  

In our 30 years together, we have been through some stuff, I can tell ya, but that was funny.  I think laughter has been responsible for getting us through a lot of it too.
